This guide is for you to find your guide to Best Magic Find Gear in Diablo II: Resurrected Patch 2.5 and Ladder Season 2. This guide will outline Magic Find properties, what items you can socket to Magic Find gear, and the best Magic Find choices for every gear slot within your inventory.
Magic Find Affixes on Magic/Rare Quality Gear
This is not including Charms, which are dealt with in a separate article below.
When you purchase Magic or rare items, you can obtain a Suffix or Prefix that will boost Magic Find. The Magic Find random property is restricted by Amulets, Circlets, Rings, Boots, and Gloves, but none applies to all types or levels. Specific properties are only found on Magic items, in which only one suffix/prefix can be found and are located on Magic and Rare products (which could have as many as six properties). It is possible to find a top-paying Magic or Rare item that surpasses anything in other things that fit the slot.
There is a possibility for an item to be rolled using both the MF suffix and an MF prefix. However, these are very uncommon and are limited by the item’s quality and the type of gear.
Socketed Items
Three kinds of objects can be put into sockets, which can be added to the Magic Find: Jewels, Runes, and Gems.
Jewels aren’t worth considering in Magic Find sets because the highest amount of Magic Find you can get from a premium Jewel is less than what you could get from the second-best choice. They can come with an Emerald prefix that can include 3-7%, and they could have the Prosperity suffix that provides 5-10 per cent. If you have the Emerald Jewel of Prosperity with top-quality rolls, you could receive 17 per cent in MF. If the item has impressive properties, then, by all means, utilize it. However, there are better alternatives for sockets found in Magic Find sets.
Topaz or Ist?
Two central Magic Find items to place in Sockets are Topazes and Ist runes.
Instead of choosing cheaper Topazes, opt for Perfect Topazes, which give 24% Magic Find. While they can be placed into any game, they will only provide Magic Find when placed in Helms or Body Armor.
It is the Ist rune, with an iLvl/Lvl minimum of 51, and is the first to drop during Hell difficulty. They give 30% MF but only when placed in the slot for weapons. They provide 25% MF when used in Chest Armor, Helms, or Shields. Because Perfect Topazes are relatively common (you may obtain your first one by carefully combining before leaving Normal), putting them within Helms and Body Armour is recommended.
Gear Sockets
Four kinds of equipment can be socketed: Chest Armor, Head Armor, Shields, Chest Armor and Weapons. If you’re using Runewords for these slots, You’ll be using normal-quality socketed equipment by necessity. But this isn’t necessarily the most effective strategy for Magic Find; sometimes a fantastic Rare, Set or Unique item within the same slot that has sockets to Perfect Topazes or Ist runes (depending on the kind of gear) will give you a better Magic Find. Certain Magic Rare sets, Unique, and Set items will come with sockets when you locate them.
They are Horadric Cube recipes to add Sockets to average high-quality Items, magical weapons or rare items. However, the recipes are expensive. Sockets can never be included in Javelins or throwing weapons.
- Sockets can be added to any non-socketed Magic high-quality weapon.
- The option is to attach 1 socket to an unsocketed rare chest Shield, Head or Weapon.
- Sockets cannot be added to Unique or Set items using the Horadric Cube, but some have natively available sockets.
When you’ve completed the quest, Siege on Harrogath Larzuk can add various sockets onto Chest Armor, Helms, Weapons, or Shields, based on the item’s quality.magic find runes diablo 2
Larzuk’s quest has added the following sockets that are based on the quality of:
Unique and Set 1 socket
Magic: 2 sockets (random)
Regular sockets: Max amount of sockets that are based on the iLvl. ILvl is determined by the mob who dropped it. Therefore, the higher the group, the higher the chance you’ll receive the most sockets.
Magic Find Gear Choices
All the main gear choices presented will have at least 30 per cent Magic Find added. This includes Runewords, Uniques as well as Sets. Some items also possess characteristics based on the character’s level (civil) and are mentioned.
Magical Weapons Find
The weapon with the greatest possible MF isn’t unique or Set. It’s a standard weapon with sockets that have 6 slots that are set with six Ist Runes (180 per cent). While this is an excellent weapon for some, it could have too much MF or lack of other stats to function correctly. Here are some more weapon options arranged from lowest to highest MF.
A two-socketed Blade of Ali Baba can be fitted with two Ist runes, increasing its MF by 60 per cent. It will also increase its minimum iLvl by 51. The most effective place to cultivate Gull is located off Coldcrow located in the Caves (Cold Plains, Act 1); This is the only location to obtain blade drop Normal. The Oculus is a good tool and an excellent weapon for farming. The pricey Runeword Last Wish offers a minimum MF of 32.5, which is why you can only use it once you reach level 65.
Helms equipped with Magic Find.
The Immortal King’s Will and Griswold’s Valor come with 2 sockets that increase their MF by between 48 and 50% when you add Ist, Perfect Topaz, or an assortment. Choosing ones with MF rolls that are on the highest possible level is recommended. Immortal, The King’s Will is restricted to barbarians only.
None of the helms listed below come with sockets. However, it is possible to add sockets using Larzuk. Harlequin Crest and Stealskull have more excellent utility. However, Tarnhelm’s requirements for low levels make it an ideal choice to pass on to your alts.
Chest Armor with Magic Find
The reward for armour Enigma is the prize for MF farmers, although other armour options can offer more MF (Enigma is between 65 and 99 per cent). It grants Teleport to all classes, faster walking and running, and plenty of benefits to speed up MF farming. The Wealth reward comes with an unbeatable 100% MF at a somewhat lower level (43) and runes that aren’t too difficult to obtain. But, the side utility could be more robust. It’s Ire maximum MF of 52.5 per cent (minimum 42 Lvl, the MF 1.25x characters level). It is 100% at the level of 80. Tal Rasha’s Guardianship is a part of Tal Rasha’s wrappings Set and is targeted at Sorceresses (anyone can wear anything except the weapon in the Set, which can be used by a Sorceress Only). However, it is the most challenging item to locate. The presence of 3 of the 5 pieces provides you with another 35% of MF. Be sure that Tal Rasha’s fine-spun Cloth is among the three items. It can add 10-15 per cent Magic Find as well.
Protect yourself with Shields using Magic Find
The most effective Magic Find shield is a four-socket one with Ist for 100 100% Magic Find for 100. Many Unique Set, Set, or Runeword shields contain Magic Find, and the threshold drops to 25%.
A few people prefer to utilize the Larzuk socket quest on Milabrega’s Orb and then add an Ist for a total of 45 per cent in MF. We recommend choosing a solid four-socketed defence like the Monarch (minimum requirements for strength for 156) and then using your socket quest for another item. The Rhyme reward also has excellent defensive qualities (such as the extremely useful Cannot be Frozen) and adds 25 per cent to all resists. It’s impossible to include more Magic Find than its native 25 per cent, but it’s still an option suitable for your game’s needs.
The Gloves come with Magic Find.
Many players will find rare gloves that have an “of Luck” suffix. They can contain up to 25 per cent Magic Find (the highest you can currently get in the game for Rare Gloves). Only One Unique glove that has Magic Find.
The Boots come with Magic Find.
Like gloves, there’s just one Unique pair. However, there are the boots “of Luck” with up to 25 per cent Magic Find. War Travelers also offer a lot of utility. The speedier Run/Walk, as well as less stamina drain, make it ideal for farming.
Belts that are Magical Find
Magic Find isn’t an available label on Magic or Rare belts.
The gold wrap is an iconic gold find item, MF/Gold. It has the highest amount of MF found on any belt, but it’s a little since virtually no belts possess this quality. Tal Rasha’s fine Spun Cloth is in this Set, although it only contains 10-15% MF. However, it is a part of the Set which has lots of the accumulated in MF. The belt is part of The Tal Rasha’s Wrappings collection and is designed for Sorceresses (anyone can wear it all except for the weapon in the Set is Sorceress only one). Combining 3 of the 5 pieces provides you with another 65 Magic Finds. Take Body armour Tal Rasha’s Guardianship, and you’ll get an additional 88 per cent Magic Find.
Amulets that have Magic Find
You can locate Magic amulets that have up to 50 per cent in MF (max roll: Fortuitous Amulet of Luck) or Rare up to 35 per cent (Amulet of Luck). However, such high-roll amulets are challenging to obtain.
Rings that have Magic Find
Rare rings, which are not Amulets, can roll up to MF only as a prefix, and the highest they can achieve in that category is 15 per cent. It is possible to find the legendary Magic Fortuitous Ring of Luck that can have up to 50 per cent in MF.
The best option for Unique rings is the Nagelring. It is a simple requirement and could be a better secondary property. However, this is a good thing if you achieve a high-quality MF.
Sets that include Magic Find Bonuses
While the individual items of a set that come with Magic Find have already been described, numerous collections have Magic Find as a set bonus — also known as a Specific Item Set Bonus, a partial Set bonus, or a total Set bonus. Below is the list of sets that have Magic Find bonuses (some of them are newer from patch 2.4):

Charms of Magic Find
The best Magic Find charm is the exclusive Grand Charm’s Fortune. It’s a random item available from Act 1, Hell difficulty. You’ll want one with the highest possible MF roll.
Magic Find is one area where players can gather many Charms. The feature “+X-X% of Getting Magic Items” can only be seen as a prefix for Grand and Large Charms or as a suffix for small Charms.
Grand Charms are three vertical spaces in your inventory The Large Charms 2 and small Charms 1. There is a good chance of having multiple Charms with a smaller MF than a Grand or a Large Charm. The most powerful MF Grand Charm (Lucky Grand Charm at 12 per cent) can be matched or surpassed by only two small Charms of Good Luck (6-7 per cent each). Two of the most diminutive Small (3 per cent) are equivalent to the top Large (6 per cent) to the identical space and are easier to integrate into. In the beginning, you’ll choose what you can afford. However, in time, you’ll find yourself replacing the large and grand Charms with small Charms if you still need to get the Grand or Large that has proper suffixes that make it more valuable in other ways.
Items that have Teleport
A teleport is an excellent option when conducting a Magic find run -However, except if you’re a Sorceress and have a magical item, you cannot Teleport without assistance from an article. Teleport helps you escape difficult situations or traverse areas swiftly to get through a site faster.
Three items can use to Teleport.
Runeword armour Enigma, listed in the Chest Armor section, provides the ability in Teleport with total costs. This is the most effective option because it gives Magic Find and other excellent properties.
Naj’s Puzzler set staff Use this as a swap weapon and switch it over whenever you require Teleport. It comes with 69 charges for level 11 Teleport.
Teleport magical objects: The suffix may be found in Magic or Rare Orbs, Staves, Circlets, and Amulets. Since most players looking to use Teleportation items won’t have Sorceresses, Circlets and Amulets are your options. In addition, Amulets are the most popular item to use for this. Depending on the level, these can cast either the level 2 or 3 Teleport.
